Finally You Can Watch The Office Superfan Episodes Without Peacock

The Office is a Classic

I think of lines and scenes from this show on a near daily basis, it lives rent free in my head. I remember when it first aired, I thought it was stupid and overrated, but then I finally gave it a chance when I was able to watch it all on Netflix and I'm so glad that I did.

What are the Superfan episodes?

I only recently found out on Reddit about the existence of the Superfan episodes, which is almost like a director's cut / extended edition of each episode with deleted scenes or slightly different shots than the original series aired with. Reddit users who watched it described it almost like seeing entirely new episodes at times.
Originally they were exclusive to Peacock, and frankly, for me there's nothing on there I want to watch badly enough that I'd pay a subscription for.

Why watch the Superfan Episodes?

I think one of the best deleted scenes I saw was on Pretzel Day, where Michael and Stanley have a rare moment where they're actually getting along and I think it's tragic that it didn't make the cut. The new cuts give new perspectives to familiar scenes, and add a bit of novelty to a show you may have watched a hundred times or listened to in the background while you do the dishes.

I'm personally really looking forward to getting my hands on it, since I've personally refused to get a peacock subscription but found out that you can get the whole series on Amazon for around $75 which for an entire show on Blu-Ray, that's not too bad, that's about a dollar per hour of watch time for the whole show.

If you're interested in it, the link above is the box set on Amazon, I'd love to hear what you think of it. I'll likely be writing about it more when I get the chance to watch them. The Office has been a great show to have on in the background while I'm working on things like this site
