Truly Lovejoy’s father has been wounded in Afghanistan and the family moves from Texas to Pumpkin Falls, New Hampshire to run the family bookstore. While a mystery is a driving portion of this book, it is also a coming of age story where Truly has to adapt to her father’s new circumstances, a new school and life outside of the military.
