Earth's gravity is the inward force of keeping it's spherical shape. Force of tectonic motion has to fight against the gravity to push the crust from the ocean floor to the top of mountain ranges. The only force that is persistently counteracting and can be stronger then gravity is the centrifugal force. It is likely the centrifugal acceleration made Earth oblate spheroid, and the main driving force of waving mantle along with crust, water and atmosphere. The issue is, gravity is not a pulling force. Unlike the attraction, Gravitational acceleration is independent of it's mass, shape, size, surface, and distance. It proven by falling body experiments, yet overlooked.
