As he drifts through his days, uncertain how much longer he can keep going, his old friend Sarah returns to town for Christmas. When their mutual friend Samuel invites him to a Christmas party, Jared is forced to hide his pain behind a fake smile, pretending everything is fine while quietly falling apart.
