Place Without Memory

Kaisersteinbruch, the Vanished History

No ratings yet

Kaisersteinbruch — an unassuming village in eastern Austria. The place’s complex and tragic past stretches from the imperial quarries to the wartime camps and into the present day. People don’t talk about it much. For the town’s residents, the film raises the question of how history is transformed or erased — and how it continues to shape everyday life.
