During an audition for the lead role in a play, Marta, an insecure young actress, meets Luiza, a seemingly friendly and confident fellow candidate. While talking, Marta reveals she has written an extra scene for the play, but fear holds her back from presenting it to the judges. When her turn comes, Marta decides not to use the material and leaves the stage frustrated. Luiza then performs and surprises the judges by including the scene Marta wrote, winning everyone's enthusiastic approval. Realizing her trust has been betrayed, Marta confronts Luiza in the theater hallway, grappling with the pain of seeing her own voice used by someone else.
