Two families, two worlds. On the surface, they are separated by a long distance, but in reality their destinies are closely linked and from a point on they become common. Dimitris and Alexandra are two young children, the former from a middle-class family, the latter a well-educated bigot. Their different upbringings do not stop the fatal attraction they feel as soon as they meet. The class difference would not be enough to keep them apart if the two children were not actually fraternal twins who were separated shortly after birth. Fate playing strange games brings Dimitris and Alexandra together. This event initiates rapid changes in the lives of the two families, since the guilty secrets, deep bitterness and intense loves of the past, buried for many years, now resurface.
