Twelve-year-old Shay, an outcast in his family and at school, discovers his father Yaki's secret affair and begins blackmailing him, turning the family dynamics upside down. Yaki, a self-absorbed aspiring author, scrambles to protect his secret while Shay revels in his newfound power.
