The story follows experienced detective captain Su Lingyu and audio-visual department head Jiang Cheng, who team up to solve a series of complex cases and grow together through the process. The investigation begins when a brutally tortured male body is found at a steel factory — the only clue being a mysterious recording seemingly staged by the victim himself. Fifty catties of gold have gone missing, and a kidnapping victim has vanished without a trace. Through their unwavering teamwork and determination, they not only bring the perpetrators to justice but also uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of Jiang Cheng's parents, ultimately dismantling the entire crime syndicate.
