In this dark comedy based on the life of comedian Christopher Titus and his stand-up routine "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding", Titus plays himself trying to run a custom car shop. He has to deal with his overbearing jerk of a father Ken, his crazy half-brother Dave, his prim proper friend Tommy, and his girlfriend Erin. Titus narrates the show, typically from his Neutral Room, a black-and-white empty room, and regularly interrupts the story for off-the-cuff flashbacks from his childhood or Ken's many failed incidents of romance and fatherhood. Many of the incidents presented are taken from Titus' life.
