No ratings yet
Kohashi Tsuneko lost her father to tuberculosis when she was 11-years-old. Taking her father's teachings about the importance of ordinary life to heart, she becomes Toto Nee-Chan, a paternal figure to her mother and her two younger sisters. Even though she struggles to provide for the family as the head of the household, she is determined to find a job that allows her to feed them and make a statement for women. When the war is finally over, she launches a lifestyle magazine 'Your Life' for the sake of females with her two sisters. With the help of the like-minded, genius editor Hanayama Isaji, the magazine grows to become essential to females living in the period of high economic growth.
