Popular writer Roman Strakhov has to submit his latest masterpiece to the publisher in two weeks. But, as luck would have it, he suffers from a creative crisis. Strakhov goes to the Investigative Committee for inspiration. In order to study the material, the writer has to share his heroic everyday life with the employees of the investigative department.
