Ali Zarnegar is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, poet, playwright, and instructor of screenwriting. He began his career by making several acclaimed short films before gaining recognition as the screenwriter of Wednesday, May 9 (2015) and No Date, No Signature (2017). The latter earned Zarnegar the Best Screenplay Award at the 2017 Stockholm International Film Festival.
