Cathy Newman

Catherine Elizabeth Newman is an English journalist, and presenter. She began her career as a newspaper journalist, and had spells at Media Week, The Independent, the Financial Times and The Washington Post. She worked for Channel 4 News for twenty years, from 2006 until 2026, initially as a correspondent and from 2011, as a presenter. Newman also presents a programme on Times Radio. In 2026, she moved to Sky News to front their flagship politics show.
