Prakash Thapa(18 June 1930 – 26 May 2004), often nicknamed "Budo Bagh", was a pioneering filmmaker, actor, and screenwriter who worked extensively in both the Hindi and Nepali film industries. He is recognized as one of the founding fathers of commercial Nepali cinema, having directed several historically significant films, including Man Ko Bandh (1974) and Sindoor (1980).
